Welcome to everyone to this little fanclub named Mr-Cheesemaker-luvc! To help to spread the love of the Blur's Bass Player, writer and actual cheesemaker, Steven Alexander James! Or simply well-known, Alex James!

*Reason: Why this club was created?
First, this isn't REALLY made to replace ~Alex-James-Fans , but since the club is unnactive since more than a half year ago, I was thinking to create another one principally for the same thing: show the love of the fandom out there for Alex.

*Name: Why Mr-Cheesemaker-luvc?
'Mr. Cheesemaker' is a play-nickname that I am using for Alex in a fanfic that I'm writing right now (unfortunately, it is only in Spanish for now...) named Far Out (guess why? It is named after 'Far Out' the song from Alex located in the Blur's Parklife album). 'luvc' is only for 'Love Fanclub'.

*How to join?
Just send a note to the club asking to join, then you should devwatch the club, and include the icon : iconmr-cheesemaker-luvc: (everything together) in your journal or even a mention in your siganture (not forced to). Just spread the love of this fandom! Yay!

*Recent News
Blur's return to the scenarios:
- Last February 25th, Damon and Graham played together 'This is a Low' in the NME Awards 2009; meanwhile Alex & Dave presented an award in the same event.
- Blur is going to play a gig in France, on the Les Nuits De Fourvière Festival on July 5th.
- Blur on Glastonbury 2009 at June 27th-28th. Also, on June 26th, they are going to play on Manchester at the M.E.N. Arena.
- Summer Festivals: Oxegen and T In The Park
- The most waited Hyde Park gigs on July 2nd-3rd.
